Overview of role:
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to own the end-to-end receivables process. Cashflow is critical, and this role goes beyond routine AR processing. It requires strong reconciliation skills, confidence working across multiple finance systems, and the ability to manage credit risk and collections with minimal supervision.
You will be the key point of contact for resolving discrepancies and customer queries, maintaining accurate account data, and giving the wider finance team clear visibility of incoming cash through reporting and forecasting. You will also support month-end close, help during busy periods and contribute to ad hoc projects, making this a varied and hands on role within a dynamic finance environment.
You will need to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and engage successfully with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and reconcile invoices across two separate finance systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
Monitor and manage the sales inbox(es), responding to customer queries and routing issues appropriately
Act as a point of contact for invoice and account queries from both customers and internal stakeholders
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role, ideally at senior or lead level
Experience improving cash collection and reducing overdue debt
Experience supporting cashflow forecasting or bad debt provisioning
Experience reconciling data across multiple systems or platforms
Essential: Ability to travel to office location with limited access to public transport
