We are currently searching for a professional and effective HR Administrator to support the rapidly expanding business needs and that of our managers and employees.
Purpose of the Role/Role Overview:
To provide administrative day to day support to the HR team, liaising with employees, leavers, and new candidates to ensure the beginning, and end-life of the employment journey is handled efficiently and professionally and in adherence with all Company policies and legislation.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
Lead on the on-boarding of new starters to ensure all paperwork is completed
Produce Contracts of Employment, contractual change letters and leaver letters
Assist with the administrative element of the Recruitment function and drafting of adverts etc.
Input and maintain employee records on electronic HR database
Process checks/applications on the criminal record database
Create and maintain reports with HR Information and provide to the management team
Maintain sickness and holiday records
Assist with the preparation of Training and Induction courses
Processing, filing, and distributing confidential reports and documents
Provide support for new and ongoing HR projects
Uphold confidentiality, both within the business and externally ensuring adherence with GDPR legislation.
Updating and ensuring accurate records are kept for all employees, including Training certificates
Administering letters to employees and maintain up to date records
Support with minute taking for key meetings
Maintain a professional manner, delivering a high level of customer service and representing the business core always values
Ensure compliance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
Any further duties as deemed necessary by Sureserve Compliance Central Ltd.
Collaborate with the payroll team, providing accurate data to meet tight deadlines.
Organisational Design
Support the business in restructures, redundancies and TUPE in line with employment legislation and best practice.
Onboarding
Liaise with our resourcer to take ownership of, and lead the delivery of a comprehensive employee induction program across our key sites, ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience.
Required Attributes
Pro active approach to identifying issues and solutions
Attention to detail with clear and simple communication skills, both verbally and written
Attention to detail in document management and retention
Ability to prioritise workload and take on multiple HR activities
A good understanding of employment legislation and how to apply this pragmatically
Strong Excel and HR system skills and proficient in MS Office applications
Working hours: 20 hours per week, flexible working during usual office hours 8am till 5pm Mon-Fri.

This vacancy can be offered as a hybrid role, but, with the flexibility to manage our own diary, within the confines of the business activity, it is expected that up to three days per week will be required in one of our sites.
