Data Analyst

This is a high-impact Data Analyst gig, based on site in our Bathgate office, where you will turn complex operational and commercial data into clear, actionable insight that drives performance, supports decision-making, and improves how the business operates.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality data insight across the business, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of performance and the information needed to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that track operational and commercial performance across contracts and programmes
Use DAX to create robust, dynamic measures and scalable data models
Produce accurate and insightful reporting using advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis)
Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into clear recommendations
Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, finance, and commercial teams to deliver relevant, insight-led reporting
Improve reporting efficiency by building automated and streamlined processes
Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency
Support the ongoing development of a data-driven culture across the business
Required Skills & Experience (Essential)
Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data modelling
Advanced DAX capability
Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, reporting, analysis)
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and clearly communicate data
Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders
Desirable Experience
Working knowledge of SQL
Experience using Power Query for data transformation
Exposure to VBA / Excel Macros
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Background in energy, construction, social housing, or property services
Awareness of platforms such as Snowflake
Package
Up to £40,000 base
Company van and fuel card.
