This is a high-impact Data Analyst gig, based on site in our Bathgate office, where you will turn complex operational and commercial data into clear, actionable insight that drives performance, supports decision-making, and improves how the business operates.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality data insight across the business, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of performance and the information needed to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that track operational and commercial performance across contracts and programmes

• Use DAX to create robust, dynamic measures and scalable data models

• Produce accurate and insightful reporting using advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis)

• Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into clear recommendations

• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, finance, and commercial teams to deliver relevant, insight-led reporting

• Improve reporting efficiency by building automated and streamlined processes

• Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Support the ongoing development of a data-driven culture across the business

Required Skills & Experience (Essential)

• Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and data modelling

• Advanced DAX capability

• Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, reporting, analysis)

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and clearly communicate data

• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders

Desirable Experience

• Working knowledge of SQL

• Experience using Power Query for data transformation

• Exposure to VBA / Excel Macros

• Experience working with large and complex datasets

• Background in energy, construction, social housing, or property services

• Awareness of platforms such as Snowflake

Package

• Up to £40,000 base
