Purpose of the Role/Role Overview:
A focal point for gathering information to assist with compliance and quality of workmanship. Providing support to the SHEQ Supervisor and Head of SHEQ in ensuring factual information is gathered and logged to ensure we meet compliance on key areas of the business for reporting to Directors and Heads of Region.
Encourage understanding of the need for Quality of Work and professional attitudes for future development of the business, creating an environment which encourages employee development, good employee relations, team building and quality standards
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
· Assist the SHEQ Supervisor in dealing with Quality Audits and reporting the outcomes including non-conformances.
· Following up non conformances and signing of the completion
· On site Health and safety audits
· Supporting and delivering inductions when required
· Ensuring compliance of equipment and speaking with engineers to support completion of check
· Completing reports monthly for the SHEQ Supervisor
· information needed to form part of a resolution.
· Being able to deal with difficult conversations and being able to remain calm when presenting the outcome.
· Being able to work with Supervisors and the Management Team to agree to a resolution.
· Provide support/cover in times of staff absence
· To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job.
· To undertake such other duties, training and / or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
· Ensure all health and safety requirements or legislation, including Risk Assessments and Fire Safety, are adhered to during the course of work.
· Ensure compliance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
· Any further duties as deemed necessary by Sureserve Compliance Central Ltd.
It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.
Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm (1 hour for lunch) - hybrid working.
