Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.

Role

• Service and maintain domestic gas appliances and heating systems within social housing properties.

• Conduct annual gas safety inspections and issue Gas Safety Certificates in line with regulatory requirements.

• Diagnose and repair faults in boilers, heating systems, pipework, and gas appliances.

• Ensure all gas work complies with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

• Respond to emergency callouts related to gas leaks, appliance failures, or heating outages.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs using company systems.

• Communicate clearly with tenants regarding work being carried out and provide guidance on safe appliance use.

• Work collaboratively with housing officers, contractors, and maintenance teams to coordinate repairs and servicing schedules.

• Identify opportunities for system improvements or energy efficiency upgrades within properties.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

The successful candidate will have

• Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications

• OFTEC Quliaification

• Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 points)

• Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential

• Experience delivering high levels of customer service

• The ability to work with a diverse customer base
