Gas Compliance Administrator

We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. Gas Compliance Administrator
The Gas Compliance Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring that all gas-related activities across the organisation meet regulatory, safety, and operational standards This position supports the Client’s Gas Compliance team by coordinating documentation, maintaining accurate records, liaising with contractors, and ensuring that all statutory checks and certifications are completed on time. The role is essential in helping the organisation maintain full compliance with UK gas safety legislation and internal policies.
Act as the primary point of contact for gas compliance queries from client, internal teams, engineers, and residents.
Schedule gas safety inspections, servicing, any gas related certification appointments and refer follow‑on works with internal with approved contractors.
Liaise with engineers to ensure documentation is submitted correctly and on time.
Support the escalation process for non‑compliance or access issues.
Monitor workflow systems to ensure tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
Assist in preparing audit trails and evidence packs for internal and external audits.
Identify discrepancies or potential compliance risks and escalate appropriately.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the compliance team.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong administrative experience, ideally within compliance, property management, or a similar service environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Confident communicator, able to liaise with contractors, engineers, and internal/external stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and compliance/asset management systems.
Desirable
Experience working in gas, housing, facilities management, or building compliance.
Familiarity with scheduling or contractor management systems
