Role Overview: Electrician – Regeneration (Planned) Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our Regeneration (Planned Works) team. The successful candidate will carry out electrical installation, replacement, testing, inspection, and maintenance works that form a crucial part of planned refurbishments and upgrades in residential and public sector properties. You’ll work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, compliant, and energy-efficient solutions in accordance with regulations and company standards.

Main Responsibilities – Planned Electrical Works in Regeneration Projects

• Carry out electrical installations, rewiring, upgrades, and planned maintenance within occupied and void properties.
• Conduct electrical testing, inspection, and fault finding on domestic and communal electrical systems.
• Ensure all work is performed in line with relevant IEE Wiring Regulations, Health & Safety standards, and Sureserve compliance procedures.
• Install, repair, or replace consumer units, lighting, switches, sockets, and associated circuitry as specified by project plans.
• Complete periodic electrical inspections (EICRs) and produce accurate certification and reports as required.
• Identify further works or improvements for future planning and communicate effectively with supervisors and site managers.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet project schedules and quality benchmarks.
• Engage positively with residents where required, maintaining a professional and respectful approach at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience – Regeneration Electrician Jobs

• Employee will hold an approved recognised trade qualification such as City & Guilds, SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• You must be trained to current regulations (18th Edition), hold an inspections & testing certificate along with a CSCS or ECS card.

Desirable:

• Renewable Fuels (Solar PV; Solar Thermal; Air Sourced Heat Pumps) – City & Guilds or equivalent BPEC.
• 
  
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Effective communicator with residents, colleagues, and site management.
