Our company is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to join us in our Bathgate office in a hybrid working model.

Working on every element of the bid writing process, you will produce bespoke, high quality PQQ and tender submissions that meet customer’s needs and aspirations. This role will suit you if you can keep the plates spinning across a volume of bids whilst working with diligence and quality.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for submissions, PQQs and tenders

• Developing benefits-based proposals that articulate true customer value.

• Project management of the bid process, agreeing strategy with sector teams, whilst ensuring adequate resources to complete submissions.

• Managing resources throughout the process, ensuring all content is in place, and for the quality of final output subject to approval and including client engagement

• Creating high quality PQQ and bid documents, writing and editing content and document production

• Contribute to development and implementation of the Bid Improvement Plan

What Should You Have?

• First class bid writing skills with the ability to blend creative narrative with technical accuracy to produce clear, compliant and persuasive tender submissions

• Ability to manage multiple bids in a a fast paced, ever changing environment

• Knowledge of energy/construction/maintenance/building/environment and/or sectors preferable.

• Working knowledge of electronic tender platforms.

• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office programs essential. Adobe Creative Suite experience strongly desirable.
