Business systems assistant
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Business Systems Assistant to support our team in keeping our property and asset data up to date and accurate. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in IT or data, who wants to learn and grow in a supportive environment. You'll be working closely with the Information Systems Lead and wider team to help manage and improve our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter new property and asset details into the company system
- Update existing records data
- Run regular checks and reports to ensure accuracy
- Help create reports and provide admin support to the data team
- Support the team in preparing monthly planned works
- Work with the wider business when needed to support projects or requests
- Continues improvement our data and systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience using IT systems, or a recent IT qualification (college, course, etc.)
- Confident using Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, basic formulas, pivot tables)
- Good attention to detail and enjoys working with data
- Willing to learn, ask questions, and try new things
- Comfortable doing routine tasks and staying focused
- Reliable, organised, and able to manage your time
- A team player with good communication skills
- Interested in growing your skills in tech, systems, or data
Working Environment:
This is a hybrid role that involves working closely with the Information Systems Lead and other stakeholders, while also engaging with operational teams and end users. The role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for hands-on learning, mentoring, and professional development. Occasional travel to client sites or operational locations may be required.
