Small Works Engineer - Sureserve Compliance Fire - London

Role overview:

The Small Works Engineer (Electrician) will deliver work across London.

To provide Installation, maintenance and servicing of fire safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European Standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day installation, planned and reactive maintenance of contracts
• Carry out remedial works as required
• Install, replacement and additional equipment
• Supporting the development of apprentices
• To act in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the clients

Required Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Level 3 Electrical Qualification, City & Guilds or equivalent
• 17th or 18th Edition Qualification (if not the 18th SCF will fund this)
• Experience and understanding of British & FIRAS standards is essential
• Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266
• Driving Licence

Working Environment:

This is operational site-based position and involves collaborating closely with the support service team. While also engaging with our clients. Expect a dynamic and fast paced work setting that combines on site work with on-going communication with office-based colleagues. The role requires proactive interaction and liaison with clients/customers, to ensure effective communication and first-class customer service.

• Basic Salary £38k to £42k with door to do travel paid, and the opportunity for overtime, leading to a realistic OTE of £50,000- £65,00
