The Role:
As a Client Relationship Manager in the smart metering industry, you will develop and manage key relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue growth, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the successful completion of commercial projects. You will collaborate closely with the Commercial Director and internal teams to ensure activities align with the company's overall business objectives and strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue and market share growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and address issues promptly.
- Track and report on commercial performance metrics like revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams for accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Provide insights and feedback to inform product development and service improvements.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility and build relationships.
The Individual:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Relations Manager or similar role in the smart metering or energy industry would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the smart metering industry, including technologies, regulations, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
